The spot
Green Island’s harbor faces west toward Taiwan, so the ferry that brought you in is also the place to watch the sun go down: it sets over the sea with the mountains of the main island stretched along the horizon, and the breakwater and the boats give you something to frame it against.
Most people watch from the harbor wall or from the road that runs north toward the lighthouse. It is the island’s main village, so dinner is a short walk away afterward.
