The spot

The long bridge that carries the coastal road over the mouth of the Yanshui River at Anping. Its sidewalk and the embankments at either end look straight out through the harbor jetties to the sea, and the sun sets between them. Plenty of people stop here on the way to or from the Sunset Platform (see writeup here), a short ride south along the coastal bike path.

The Sicao wetlands and the Green Tunnel boat rides are just inland; the boats stop before sunset, so do them first.
