The spot
The harbor at Shimen sits on the northernmost stretch of the coast, near the sea arch the town is named for. The breakwater faces north-west, so in the long days of summer the sun goes down over the water; in winter it sets further round, behind the headland.
Fresh fish at the harbor-side stalls, and the rock formations along this bit of coast are worth the walk while you wait for the light.
